Androids? IOS? Anyone? Its really a bit mind boggling now a days to choose the best smart phone. And what more to come up with a good match for a great network like AT&T. A long list of advises are out there to give you sheer information on the best phone in the market. But here’s some of the basic that may help you a lot:

The Five Tips for Buying a Smart Phone for the AT&T:

1. What is the latest technology? The choices can run among which of the phones has the better operating system, has the most number of features, the slickest and the lightest, and can even be narrowed down to which phone is capable of understanding the human brain and would already be performing what the user requires. This may be too way advanced eh?
For AT&T, The IPhone 4s is still a force to beat. With its superb features and eye popping beauty, its a guaranteed match for a great network. The maiden of all Iphone generations, it is powered by Siri—the virtual personal assistant of the IPhone4S user, which just lets you speak everything you want to do and Siri does it for you. Say, ask what’s the weather in Miami, and Siri gives you instant results and gives you a caring advise to bring an umbrella. What a tender way for a phone to extend care to its user. AT&T has a got a great framework to support all these absurd applications and what’s more, AT&T got some great contract packages for this phone.

2. Durability. Some phones may be just too techie and possess all sorts of great stuff but suddenly out from a busy conversation, you drop your phone and all you realize you look for mean ways to take away the scratches. The beauty of your phone has dwindled down to just a cheap item for just a simple rash appearance.

The Droid Razor has got the colossal strength which makes your phone resistant to scrapes and scratches. Its water-repellant cover protects the phone and its internal circuits from undesirable water exposure. It’s tag line fits its own description, Construction: Droid-Strong, Razor-Sharp. It is guaranteed your phone still looks new just like the moment you swiped your card at your dealer’s cashier. Great match for AT&T’s dependable network. A strong phone powered by a strong network.

3. Practicability. A smart phone reflects the kind of user that acquires it. A businessman may require a phone which has everything in it. Board meetings are confirmed in a flick of a finger, schedules are done while going his way to the substation and catching up that 9:00 AM train schedule, and more importantly, memos are easily encoded for proper information dissemination to all concerned.

The Galaxy Nexus offers great texting power with its virtual QWERTY keyboard stylishly made for people who find delight in looking at all the letters of the alphabet. Memos can just easily be crafted and sent to all with the Google-powered feature. In fact, a board meeting may even take place while you’re out having a great cheeseburger break. All other members of the meeting can give you their inputs, tackle discussions on certain issues and you all decide together. Talking about working away from the office with great and outstanding messaging backed with the power of AT&T.

4. Price. It all boils down to the affordability and the consumer satisfaction. Smart phones can be expensive yet you still see the value that it adds to your life. IPhone4 s contracts start at a minimum of 199 dollars to as high as 299 dollars depending on the better capability of the phone. This doesn’t take much of your hard earned dollar considering the action-packed features this smart phone has to offer. The Droid Razor starts at 299 dollars. With its futuristic design and resistant casing, this smart phone rightfully commands a price in the market. Galaxy Nexus contract price start at 299 dollars. Think about doing those extra rounds of lawn mowing at your neighbor’s yard just to get this great gem of technology. What’s fun is there are so many great deals which are only offered from the leading mobile phone provider, AT&T. Every great smart phone really comes with a price.

The last of the 5 Tips For Buying A Smartphone for the At&T.

5. Features. Here are some of the basic features of smart phones for AT& T

a. IPhone4S—The most amazing feature is the Siri—IP4S, personal assistant. This makes you use your voice to use your iPhone. You talk to Siri just like the way you would talk to a friend. You may even ask, “Do I need bring water?” Knowing it is a very hot day, a typical reply would be, Yes, you need to bring water. Siri will not only understand the things you say, it will really know the things you mean to say. It will provide the appropriate applications to give you the best answer. To give a reminder is something Siri can always do. It will not stop reminding you until you are able to do what you ought to do.

b. Droid Razor—An interesting feature lies in its processor. The dual core 1.2 Ghz gives double power compared to other smart phones . Browsing the web, monitoring stock market prices, calculations and much more which you can all do at the same time. Talk about multi-tasking without seeing your phone hang up and you press restart because it seems your brain is much more faster than your phone. It’s not a smart phone if it’s not smarter than you, isn’t it? Droid Razor lets you feel it really is more than just a smart phone.

c. Galaxy Nexus—It almost has the same features with the above mentioned two smart phones, only that it is more focused photo management. It packs a high resolution acknowledgment of digital imaging. Budding to be a prolific photo editor without bringing a notebook PC with you, then this phone could be your work station. Edit, copy, send pictures at high resolutions. That’s why it’s named Galaxy.
This information may help. Again these are just very basic. These are the Five Tips For Buying A Smartphone for the AT&T. If these great deals don’t appeal much on AT&T, maybe we’ll find better smart phone deals with Verizon. Talking about great competition in the mobile phone industry. Better deals. Better service.

Last week we received the new Droid 4 by Motorola which is the best smartphone I have ever used on the Verizon network. The phone worked great but I didn’t realize that the data plan wasn’t working until I left the house and the wifi network.

After playing around and trying to get it to work we called Verizon support and they did a great job getting it to work. I hope this helps you connect to the data service since it fixed my phone and my girlfriend Debbies also. I am sure this is a common problem with the settings on the Droid when they are shipped.

Trouble connecting to data plan on Droid 4 Follow these steps

Settings data manager > data enabled is on > global data roaming charges > Hit allow access for all trips>

Go back to home screen and open the Browser> Settings > Scroll down check on Enable Javascripts > Clear all >

Click out of there and go back to the home screen

Settings > wireless networks > mobile network > it Should say : Preferred network CDMA/LTE

Power off phone to recycle it. Data plan should be working now. The 4G on your phone may be white when you turn it on for a few seconds and then turn blue and you are good to go.

The industry of smartphones is a bustling industry with experts always inventing new technologies and phones smarter than previous versions. To help people in choosing the best smart phone, below are 5 tips for buying a smartphone for the Verizon wireless network.

The market of mobile phones including smart phones is flooded with new technological innovations and in-front of this wide choice of products, customers might feel lost not knowing which phone to buy that is appropriate for their needs.

This wealth of technological and engineering knowledge, expertise and options has led to an explosion in the world of smartphones with the development of an array of telecommunication product models and brands. The old generation of mobile phones has given way to new generations of smart phones conceptualized on ‘intelligent’ technologies. Each brand is being advertised as ‘The Intelligent Breed’ and smartest cell phone.

Today we are going to look at phones on the Verizon Network. Presently, there are brands and cell phone models that are renown throughout the world such as apple IPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and other products that are presently sharing the market niche with less popular ones. The diversification of the smart phone and cell phone industry is the resultant of scientific advancement with the introduction of new and, supposedly, better performing technologies. The androids operating systems exemplify the revolution in the telecommunication technological field.

To remain in the rat race, many companies such as Samsung, Dell, AT&T and others have been forced to review their orientation and develop new product lines. Hence, they entered the market of smart phones to ensure their survival and remain competitive. Subsequently, customers are being proposed an array of products each professing to be more intelligent and smarter that the others and proposing advantageous and revolutionary features and applications. They are all about the same some just have different features.

Although all these innovations are initially meant to improve people’s live, efficiency, productivity and communication, yet, it can be a real headache for people who do not have any telephony and technical knowledge to choose the appropriate phone model. Indeed, it is part of the marketing game to publish appealing advertisements that are not hundred per cent faithful descriptions of manufactured goods. All companies use marketing tricks and tactics to hide the disadvantages of products focusing solely on their advantageous features that distinguished them from competitors. Hence, most customers can easily be lured and get trapped into buying a phone that, in the end, does not meet their expectations.

The industry of telephony is a highly competitive field in which the life cycle of a product is short. New technological generations are constantly being introduced and marketing strategies play a vital role in ensuring the survival of old generation phones. To avoid getting trapped in these marketing stratagems, some 5 Tips for buying a smartphone for the Verizon network are listed below to guide customers in making the best possible choice:

Firstly, since the performance of a smart phone relies on its operating system, prior to buying a phone, people should make preliminary research. They should list down all the features they are looking for in a smart phone such as email facilities, high resolution image capture and filming, Internet connection, media applicationsand other user friendly features and interfaces.

Once people know what they are looking for exactly, they should compare the brands and models available on the market that offer what they want. When people browse on the Internet they can find numerous product reviews that are rich sources of information on the products’ operating systems such as their weaknesses and strengths, their innovative characteristics, customers reviews and so on and so forth.

Secondly, while finding out about the operating system is vital, customers should also take into consideration the type of smart phone they want such as the design of the product and its style. Nowadays smart phones vary greatly in styles, colors and designs with some being trendier than others. For example there are ultra slim phones, touch screens, QWERTY keyboards and other stylish features. Indeed, the present generation smart phones combine performance, functionality and aesthetic which makes it possible for customers to buy a product that is fashionable and, at the same time, useful.

Given that most smart phones are, to some degree, based on similar technologies, often style and design are the features that distinguish a brand and model from the others. Most companies play on aesthetic look to attract potential customers.

Thirdly, once customers have listed down the applications and features they want and found the smart phone style and design that meet their personal taste, they should shop around before buying the phone. Presently, prices are highly competitive and many mobile phone retailers including online sellers are proposing promotional offers that are, in some instances, valuable.

Customers should shop around so as to find the best deal that fits in their financial budget. Yet, they should keep in mind that the type of phone, operating system and design will determine the selling price of a smart phone. In other words, the more recent, sophisticated and designed the product, the more expensive it will be. In addition, the price will also vary according to the product brand and model such as the price of a Droid Razor will differ from that of an Apple IOS. Therefore, when making a purchasing decision, it is wise to set a budget and to stick to it.

Fourthly, the performance of a smart phone is determined by the quality of the network coverage and of the phone calls as well. It is a waste of money to buy a phone that is not compatible with the local network and with international networks especially for customers that regularly travel abroad. Besides, a phone that has poor network reception will not function properly in regions with weak network signals.

Each phone has a different transmission quality and network reception. Also, there are mobiles that operate with predefined network providers which means that they cannot work with other networks. Therefore, customers should always check the phone compatibility network such as if the phone can operate within the Verizon network. Other features they should also consider that impact on the quality of phone calls are: earpiece sound quality, microphone performance, Bluetooth transmission and so on.

Fifthly, it is good customer habit to read the warranty document. Buying a smart phone is no exception to the rule and hence customers should pay particular attention to warranty conditions. A smart phone should be covered by a good warranty and people should check if it is an international guarantee.

In this day in age, people are tethered to their mobile devices. There seems to be an umbilical cord, or lifeline if you will, that people have between their cell phones and themselves. They are no longer just a means of catching up on a conversation, rather they have begun to sneak into every facet of our lives. Cell phones are now a calendar, a mobile secretary, a computer, and a tool for social networking, texting, searching the web, and even the occasional phone call.

If you are in the market for an upgrade to your cell phone, or even purchasing your first cell phone, the variety of different options on the market can be outright dizzying. Because a phone is no longer just for talking, the different uses, options, and networks can be overwhelming to decipher. However, once you decide which carrier is going to be best for you, you can then begin narrowing down your choices for choosing the best smartphone to suit your needs.

When searching for the right smartphone, you may be overwhelmed by the different options: iPhone, android, Verizon, AT&T all seem to be foreign words. Choosing your carrier will be one of the first things you should do when deciding on your smartphone. There are a lot of different options for your mobile carrier, so there are some things to first consider: how much you want to spend, what kind of coverage you need, what kind of plan you need, and if you need to purchase multiple lines.

Verizon has recently been ranked as the best service provider in the United States based on customer’s input. They offer the fewest dropped calls, best internet service connection, and the best customer service. Of course, the great coverage and service does come at a price on your wallet. Verizon’s monthly service plans are also some of the most expensive. However, if a lot of your friends and family have Verizon as well, minute usage won’t matter as much, as all in-network calls don’t use your monthly minute usage allowance. AT&T, on the other hand, was rated the worst by customers for their monthly service.

While the plans are somewhat cheaper than Verizon, customer service was poor, calls were frequently dropped, lost, or missed, and data coverage has been relatively spotty. This often means that while you are paying less, you aren’t getting as good of service all around. Of course there are some in-between carriers such as Sprint and T-Mobile which also offer pros and cons to customers. It is best to research each carrier’s service plans before deciding which one you will suit your needs most, as you will most likely be locked into a contract with that provider for at least a year.

Now it is Time To Choose Your Cell Phone Provider

Once you have decided upon a cell phone carrier, you can get down to more important business–choosing the right smartphone. Each carrier has different smartphones which work with their networks. In just about every network, iPhones are some of the most popular smartphones on the market. They are an Apple product, which for many means high quality, and ease of use. Ever since iPhone debuted their smartphone on the market several years ago, they have set the bar for all other smartphone operating systems, and continue to set precedent for smartphone developers. The iPhone, too, comes at a fairly high price. They are some of the most expensive smartphones on the market, and for many consumers are not worth their hefty price tags.

If you like the idea of a smartphone but not the huge cost associated with iPhones, consider an android phone. Android phones are another operating system which will give a lot of the same benefits an iPhone does, but without having to pay nearly as much for apps or the actual handset. Android based smartphones are wildly popular with consumers because users can still access the internet, download music, share photos, text, talk, and social network from their handset.

The benefits of a lot of the android operating systems is the variety of different types of handsets customers have to choose from to purchase, and the huge android market for apps. In the android market for smartphones, users have a huge selection of apps to choose from, thousands of which are cheap or even free to use. Android based operating systems are available from almost every cell phone carrier, so the variety of devices to choose from are extremely wide.

Choosing your actual smartphone will depend on a few key things each consumer should consider. The size of smartphones varies greatly from one model to the next, so deciding how big of a phone you want to carry is something to think about. The next thing to consider is what type of data coverage you are going to want. Finally, price again figures into the equation when choosing your actual smartphone handset. For a woman who wants a more compact phone which can slip easily into a bag or purse, there are a number of smaller phones on the market. The displays on these phones will usually be smaller, and texting may be more difficult.

If you are somebody who texts a great deal, then getting used to smaller keys on the display or keyboard can be something of a challenge. If you are somebody who has issues with dexterity in your fingers due to arthritis or a medical condition, or if you have large fingertips, you are most likely going to need to opt for a larger display and keyboard. Most smartphones right now on the market are in the 3G network. This is the speed of retrieving data on your phone, and mostly applies to internet applications.

There are a variety of phones now which offer 4G coverage, which means faster access to internet, but not all areas are able to get 4G coverage just yet, which means you may be paying for a service you won’t get. Finally, when deciding which smartphone to purchase, you should definitely consider your budget. Some excellent smartphones are available for very low cost via your cell phone provider, and others may be extremely expensive. Your budget may ultimately determine which phone you will be able to purchase.

A smartphone is more than just a communication device to people nowadays. It is a reflection of a person’s personality in many regards. It is a means of not only talking, but communicating with the world via text, talk, internet, email, and social networking. Choosing the right smartphone for you can make your life a whole lot easier!

Hospitals : Last thing some sick relative that you are visiting needs to hear and it is suppose to be a quiet place so sick people can get rest.
Libraries : Same reason as above it is a quiet place and intended to be one.
Concert halls : Trust me no one wants to listen to your cell phone ring after shelling out big money for a concert ticket.
Schools : No if and buts about it they are banned from most schools. It is a place of learning not talking.
Funeral Homes : what could be so important that your cell phone would be turned on for here is beyond me. only excuse is a doctor on call
Elevators :Just rude enough said others don’t want to hear your business.
Public Transportation : No one on a bus or train wants to hear your conversation and it is rude to others around you.
Airplane :While waiting for others to board the plane or waiting to exit the plane don’t have a conversation just for the sake of having a conversation. Other people that are on the plane don’t want to hear you conversation. If you need to make pickup arrangements be quick with the call.
Camera Phone Etiquette – Places never to use a camera phone
Gyms : No if and or buts about this one! there is no reason at all to be taking pictures in a gym not even of yourself. most health clubs are asking you to hand in camera cell phone’s when you arrive.
Hospital’s : Once again there is no reason to take pictures in a place full of sick people. (and no you shouldn’t take pictures of the pretty nurses either)
Any place where people are vulnerable this pretty much explains itself.
Keep checking back here for more places as I add them if you would like to add some drop us a comment
